Ready to get your Trek on? This is an awesome 1 to 1 prop replica of Mr. Spock's Favorite tool for exploring strange new worlds. The player, and face plate are mated together and fit right into the tricorder hood and are removable to activate and for charging or to add more video and audio if you wish. 25 minutes of different sound effect, episode clips and visual effects as well that were supplied for public use.
The player and face plate are bonded together and come out of the tricorder hood as one unit. The face plate tricorder buttons are static.
They do not function the MP3 player. The player buttons are used to activate the player. Once turned on, the screen is touch screen to move to different videos at the swipe of your finger. You can pause the screen at any time by just tapping the screen.
All silver parts are real machined aluminum. Body of the tricorder is molded plastic.The face plate, knobs and jewels are a Jon Paul re-creation and finely detailed. The face plate speaker grill is a simulated coronet type fabric.
